Abraham is the founder of Quandl, a data company that was acquired by NASDAQ in one of Canada's largest startup exits of 2018. He was previously a senior portfolio manager at Simplex, a multi-billion dollar quant hedge fund headquartered in Tokyo. Abraham is an active angel investor and a well-known writer and thought leader in the fields of data businesses and venture dynamics. As a venture partner to Merak, he brings deep expertise in data, AI, ML and marketplace deal evaluation; rigour in portfolio construction and fund oversight, and; representation in the North American tech ecosystem. Abraham has a B.Tech. in Engineering Physics from IIT Bombay.
