1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to vccatalog.com (the "Platform"), a directory of venture capital firms, startups and the people who work at those firms, operated by Team Social LTD ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"), a company registered under the laws of the State of Israel. By accessing or using the Platform, you ("User", "you", or "your") agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

How we handle personal data, including the data of the people listed in the catalog, is described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

The Platform is a free, publicly accessible professional catalog. It compiles information about venture capital firms, their investment team members, the startups they back and funding rounds from public sources: the websites of firms and startups, public regulatory filings (such as SEC Form D filings), public professional profiles (such as LinkedIn) and news publications. Users do not create profiles; signed-in users can suggest corrections, which we review before applying them.

Some information is matched automatically, for example linking a person to a public LinkedIn profile by name and firm, sometimes with the help of an AI model. Relationship maps and reports are derived by software from the catalog. Automated matching and derived information can be wrong.

The Platform is provided for informational and professional research purposes. It is not investment, legal or financial advice, it is not an offer or recommendation of any security or fund, and it does not represent that any person or firm will respond to or work with you.

Because the Platform is free, the Company may modify, suspend, limit or terminate the Platform or any part of its data at any time, for any reason, without notice.

3. Accounts

Some features (for example full relationship lists, share links and suggesting corrections) require signing in, with a Google account or an e-mail code. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms. You can ask us to delete your account at any time at [email protected].

4. Factual Public Data and Data Ownership

Raw factual information, such as a professional's name, corporate title, employer, funding amounts and job history, is compiled from public sources; we do not claim copyright in individual facts. Each fact remains subject to the rights of its original source.

The software, interface design, graphic assets, the selection and arrangement of the catalog, the research articles and reports we publish, the algorithms and the name vccatalog.com are the property of Team Social LTD.

5. Permitted Use and Automated Access

You may view the Platform and use its information for your own personal or internal business research. You may quote and link to our research articles with attribution to vccatalog.com. You agree not to:

• copy, download or extract the catalog or substantial parts of it with bots, spiders, scrapers or other automated means, except search engines and other crawlers acting within the rules published in our robots.txt file;
• circumvent rate limits, access controls or other technical protections of the Platform;
• republish, sell or build a competing directory or dataset from data taken from the Platform;
• use information from the Platform to send spam, run phishing campaigns, or harass or stalk the people listed;
• impersonate any person, including when using the profile removal or correction tools.

We may block access that breaches this section.

6. Corrections and Removal

If information about you or your firm is wrong, signed-in users can suggest a correction on the profile, or you can write to [email protected]. A listed person can remove their profile with the "Is this you? Remove my profile" link on the profile page, as described in section 7 of the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL ACCESSIBLE DATA ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEAM SOCIAL LTD DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

The Platform relies on public sources that may be out of date, inaccurate or incomplete, and on automated matching that can make mistakes. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of any information, or the continuous availability of the Platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL TEAM SOCIAL LTD, ITS FOUNDERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, REPUTATION OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE PLATFORM.

BECAUSE THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, THE TOTAL LIABILITY OF TEAM SOCIAL LTD TO YOU UNDER THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED 100 NEW ISRAELI SHEKELS (ILS), TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or any right you have under data protection or consumer protection law.

9. Class Action Waiver

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU AND TEAM SOCIAL LTD AGREE THAT EACH PARTY MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS ACTION OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of your use of the Platform are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, excluding its conflict of law rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel have exclusive jurisdiction, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

If you are a consumer, this does not take away the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live or your right to bring proceedings there where that law gives you that right.

11. Changes, Severability and Contact

We may change these Terms; the "Last Updated" date at the top shows when. Continuing to use the Platform after a change means you accept the new Terms. If any provision is found unlawful or unenforceable, it is severed and the remaining provisions stay in force.
