About
About VC Catalog
A free library and relationship graph for researching venture-capital firms, partners, portfolio companies and co-investors.
What VC Catalog is
VC Catalog (vccatalog.com) is a free, publicly accessible catalog of venture capital firms, the companies they back, the people who work at those firms and the relationships between them. It is meant for founders, investors and researchers who want to understand who invests in what.
- Search & Compare: Search the database for VC firms, partners and companies, then compare firms side by side on their key figures.
- Connect: Find your quickest path to a warm introduction through the people and investments the database records.
- Market Insights & Reports: Deep-analysis reports on industry trends, statistics and insights, each with its coverage and method.
- Research: In-depth research articles on what is happening in venture capital.
- Datasets: every public record, split by letter, sector, country and more.
Where the data comes from
Public sources only: the websites of venture capital firms and startups, public regulatory filings such as SEC Form D and Form ADV filings, public professional profiles and news publications. Some links between records are matched automatically, sometimes with the help of an AI model; automated matching can be wrong. Users do not create profiles: signed-in users can suggest corrections, which are reviewed before they are applied. Details are in the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
Who runs VC Catalog
vccatalog.com is owned and operated by Team Social LTD, a company registered in Israel (company no. 516013471).
Research and editing: Eyal Moskovitz
Eyal Moskovitz writes the VC Catalog research articles from the VC Catalog database. Each article states its sources, its method and the limits of its data, and publishes the numbers behind every chart.
