About
Agnaldo Andrade joined HMC Capital in 2012 and currently serves as Partner and Head of Brazil Distribution, leading the firm’s distribution platform and client coverage in Brazil. Since joining, he has played a central role in expanding HMC Capital’s presence in the Brazilian market and developing commercial relationships across alternative investment strategies and solutions. He has more than 20 years of experience in capital markets, asset management, and insurance, including more than 15 years leading commercial teams across these sectors. Before joining HMC Capital, he founded Itajuba Investimentos in 2008. From 2003 to 2007, he served as Managing Director at Icatu Hartford Seguros S.A., a joint venture between Grupo Icatu and Hartford Life. Earlier, he held senior roles at Grupo Icatu in Brazil, including Commercial Director for Institutional Clients at Banco Icatu, Icatu Investimentos, and BBA Icatu Investimentos.
