Alejandro Ponce

Alejandro holds vast experience in investing both in large companies and startups. Before Ataria, he founded ToN Ventures, an angel fund with 30 investments in tech ventures in Israel and Silicon Valley. Previously, he co-founded Nexus Group and grew it to become Peru’s largest private equity firm, managing over $1B total assets under two funds. Alejandro graduated Summa Cum Laude from Universidad del Pacifico and went on to gain an M.B.A. from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1998. In 2016, Alejandro received a full scholarship from Google to attend Singularity University’s Global Solutions Program, deepening his expertise in exponential technologies.
