Ali leads Salica’s activity in the MENA region and focuses on early-stage investments, investor relations and strategic relationships. Ali is a partner in the Salica Oryx Fund. Ali is a former debt capital markets investment banker advising on various landmark conventional and Islamic debt transactions. He has worked on prominent deals with several sovereign wealth funds in the Gulf region. Ali began his career with EY where he advised on corporate finance structuring. Ali speaks three languages and holds a Masters degree from University College London.
