My goal as Managing Partner (Socio Director) of the fund is to make Gerbera a link between entrepreneurs and investors, through the strengthening and institutionalization of the companies in which we invest. Until the launch of the Fund, I served as CFO at Grupo Diestra, a private business group with interests in the apparel, tourism and real estate industries. As part of my PE/VC activities, I have founded and invested in various businesses over the last 20 years, including Metroscubicos.com, where I served as CEO from its founding in 1999 until 2002, and was subsequently Chairman of its Board of Directors until the company was acquired by Grupo Editorial Expansión (a Time Warner subsidiary) in 2007. In 2002 I co-founded, together with Raúl Uranga, Rocher Holdings, a private equity fund specialized in the real estate industry. I have worked as an Associate at Bassini Playfair + Associates in New York for its Latino PE Fund
