About

Amel served as Director of Finance and Operations at an early- stage venture fund, where she continues to provide support as a fractional CFO. Prior to that, she was an Accounting Manager at Kranz Consulting, providing accounting and advisory services to numerous early-stage venture capital funds and managing quarterly and annual financial reporting in collaboration with external service providers. Earlier in her career, she gained alternative investment experience working with private equity and venture capital clients at other fund administrators. Amel began her career at PwC as an auditor in the Asset Management and Financial Services practice, specializing in audits of mutual funds, private equity, and venture capital firms. She holds a BS in Business Administration (Accounting) from the University of Colorado Denver and an MS in Accountancy from Regis University, and she is a licensed CPA in Colorado.
