Andrea H. Marshall, JD, is an experienced investor, attorney and business executive who co-founded OphthaFund. She currently serves as a Trustee of the South Carolina Research Authority. She previously served for 16 years as a director of its affiliate SC Launch, including two years as Chair, and led Charleston Angel Partners, overseeing the screening, diligence and negotiation of early-stage technology investments. Her healthcare and life sciences experience includes serving as founding Innovation Director of the Roper St. Francis Research and Innovation Center, advancing early-stage inventions. In 2025, as General Counsel, she guided the acquisition of MedTrust Holdings.
