Andrew spent nearly two decades as a Partner and co-founder of Maven Capital Partners (“Maven”), one of the UK’s most active growth capital investors in SMEs. He was part of the team that led the buyout of Aberdeen Asset Management’s Private Equity division in 2009 to form Maven, having originally joined Aberdeen in 2004 from the Corporate Banking Division of Bank of Scotland. Over a 30-year career, Andrew has built deep experience in investing in and supporting SMEs across the UK, serving as both investor and board member. Andrew is an active angel investor and advisor. He sits on the advisory board of Haelo, a RegTech start-up, and is a Board Advisor to Cruinn Consulting, an innovative recruitment solutions company. He is also a member of the Smart Things Accelerator Centre (“STAC”) Invest Panel, supporting its cohort of early-stage technology businesses.
