Arpan joined Garuda from Okta where he was the Director of Corporate Development. He joined the enterprise software giant as an early employee in 2013, and helped the company grow from early stage through its IPO in 2017 and life as a public company since then. He was a founding member of all key inorganic growth functions - M&A, Okta Ventures, and strategic partnerships - and helped grow the business from ~$25M in revenue to $1B+ and into a multi-product enterprise. He executed all of the company's early M&A transactions, amounting to $6.5B+ across Security, Developer Tools, DevOps, and IT Workflows. He has also been an active angel and fund investor since 2014, and was the first investor in Garuda Ventures' Micro Fund based on a decade long friendship with Rishi. Prior to working as a tech executive, Arpan practiced as a corporate lawyer and as an equity research associate covering the technology sector at Bloomberg LP and Credit Suisse.
