About
Ashley is an experienced venture investor with a track record of supporting innovation and leadership across the private and public sectors. Ashley has led or worked on more than $250M in investments in these sectors. Ashley began her career in sustainability, looking holistically at the intersection of the economy, environment, and education. She initially focused on education, joining Teach For America and leading a classroom in the Bronx, in the poorest school district in the U.S. at the time. After receiving two graduate degrees, honing her due diligence skills at BCG, and serving as a political appointee during the Obama Administration in the Department of Education, Ashley joined Owl Ventures Fund I. All of these experiences shaped her view of where technology and venture capital can have an outsized positive impact.
