Austin Wood is an Investment Manager at SET Ventures. Formerly, Austin was the Chief of Staff at Wallbox chargers. At Wallbox, Austin played a key role in helping the company scale from 100 to 1,400 employees raise over €100M in funding, acquire four companies and IPO on the NYSE. Previously, he worked at Endeavor, an organisation that supports entrepreneurs around the world by connecting them with investors, mentors and talent. At Endeavor, he managed the team’s Smart Cities portfolio, advising companies in the energy, mobility, IOT 4.0, logistics and prop-tech spaces. Austin brings important operational expertise to SET’s investment decisions. Expertise that helps us to better understand the challenges faced by our portfolio companies as they scale. In his free time, he enjoys reading, practicing Spanish, Catalan, training for triathlons, and spending time with friends and family.
