About
Badr Jafar is the CEO of Crescent Enterprises and President of Crescent Petroleum. He is also actively involved with non-profits focused on advancing philanthropy, education, governance, and the arts, and was named in TIME magazine’s TIME100 Philanthropy list for 2025. In 2010, Badr founded the Pearl Initiative in collaboration with the UN Office for Partnerships. He currently serves as the Special Envoy of the UAE Minister of Foreign Affairs for Business and Philanthropy.
