About
Beliz graduated from the University of Queensland in 2019 with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) / Bachelor of Commerce (Finance). After graduating, Beliz spent five years as a tax lawyer at McCullough Robertson in Brisbane and more recently at K&L Gates in Sydney, specialising in both direct and indirect taxes for a range of corporate clients (including Australian VC funds). Seeking a pivot into investments, Beliz joined the Shearwater Capital team in May 2025.
