About

Chad comes from a fifth-generation farm family in Southern Illinois, where his family has spent decades building a manufacturing business that produces industrial components for the agricultural and mining industries. He carried that operating tradition into technology, founding and scaling businesses across manufacturing, supply chain, software, and consumer products. Today, Chad helps lead his family office, Cazel LP, and co-founded Blackwing to back founders building at the frontier of what is possible for America's strength, security, and prosperity. He brings an operator's perspective to investing, with a focus on identifying ambitious founders and helping them navigate the strategic and operational challenges of building enduring companies.
