Christian Lawless is the Founder and Managing Partner of Conversion Capital, an early and growth stage venture capital firm focused on Generative AI, financial technology, cloud infrastructure, and national security. Prior to founding Conversion Capital, he was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers and Nomura, where he led sales and trading teams across multiple asset classes. As an investor, Christian specializes in go-to-market strategy and revenue acceleration, helping early-stage companies scale from product-market fit to category leadership. He has led investments in companies including Ramp, BLND, Cognition, Temporal, and FIGR. He currently serves on the boards of Vesta, Pylon, Raylu, and Booster Fuels. Christian was named to the 2026 Midas List and holds a degree in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University.
