Co-founded Stability AI (one of the first generative AI unicorns) and The Future Society, one the first non-profits focusing on the global governance of AI. Founded and manages AI Safety Connect, working on international gatherings as well as policy-oriented solutions. Member of the OECD Expert Groups on AI Futures and on Responsible AI Investments. Member of the Global Partnership on AI (GPAI) where he led the Safety and Assurance of Generative AI (SAFE) project. Fellow at the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government in Dubai. Mentor at the Foresight Institute and at the MATS Program. Served as first Advisor to the UAE Minister of Artificial Intelligence at the Prime Minister’s Office, where he convened twice the Global Governance of AI Roundtables at the World Government Summit.
