About
Daniel’s experience has been in building institutional quality asset managers to cater to the needs of professional investors. Daniel began his career at American Express, and then moved on to ING Furman Selz Asset Management (IFSAM). In 2003, Daniel joined JANA Partners LLC, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor managing several Event Driven hedge funds and Separately Managed Accounts for institutional investors. Daniel spent close to eight years at JANA Partners, and most recently as a Partner and Chief Operating Officer. During that period, as the fund grew from $600mm in assets under management to ultimately in excess of $8.5bn, Daniel successfully built out the infrastructure to manage JANA’s explosive growth and oversaw all business related activities of the firm both in the US and abroad. Daniel has served on an Advisory Board for the Sy Syms School of Business, as well as on the boards of a number of charities and institutions both in Israel and the US. Daniel has also spoken at
