About
Dave Kashen has founded two successful VC-backed startups, Worklife (backed by Y Combinator, acq. by Cisco) and Wellsphere (acq. by IAC/Sequoia-backed HealthCentral). He’s also spent nearly 10 years serving as an executive coach to over 100 CEOs of fast-growing VC-backed startups. Dave has trained leaders and consulted on culture at hundreds of startups. He created the first ever industry conference on the people side of running a startup, Unleashed. Previously, Dave served as an investment professional for SPO Partners, one of the best returning private investment funds in history and as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs. Dave earned his MBA from Stanford’s Graduate School of Business as an Arjay Miller Scholar, and a BS in Economics Summa Cum Laude from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Dave has been a volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Hamilton Family Center and the Marin Suicide Hotline.
