David loves diving into the numbers and strategic narrative behind startup growth. He first joined IAF in the summer of 2024 as a Mosaic Fellow with Impact Capital Managers before returning full-time the following year. David’s interest in impact investing is rooted in his mother’s upbringing and father’s work in Southern Mexico, where the disparities he witnessed inspired his search for effective ways to bridge systemic gaps. Prior to IAF, David worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and later in corporate development at Bird, where he helped guide the company through periods of rapid expansion and operational restructuring. He holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BA in Economics from Wheaton College.
