About
David ibnAle is the Founding and Managing Partner of Advance Venture Partners. He has over thirty years of experience as an investor in small and mid-sized growth companies in the technology, tech-enabled services and health care sectors. Prior to co-founding AVP in 2015 , Mr. ibnAle was a Managing Director of TPG Growth, the growth equity and middle-market investment platform of TPG , where he led the firm’s global technology investing effort. Prior to joining TPG Growth, he was a Partner at Francisco Partners, which he joined at inception in 1999 . Mr. ibnAle’s first investing role was as a member of the investment team at Summit Partners, which he joined in 1996 after beginning his career in corporate finance at Morgan Stanley.
