YETI Capital was founded by Dave and Roy to help founders scale their businesses. Dave and Roy did this together at YETI Coolers, growing company revenues by ~25x during their partnership. For the past twenty-five years Dave has led private equity firm Cortec Group ( www.cortecgroup.com ), during which the firm has delivered consistently top quartile investment results. Cortec’s focus is to work unusually closely with founders and management teams to help them improve operations, build teams, and develop processes to facilitate sustainable, long-term company growth. Dave’s goal in creating YETI Capital was to bring a truly value-added approach to earlier stage businesses, by sharing the expansive business acumen of our group of highly successful company founders and CEOs, with a particular focus on consumer products and services businesses.
