Elaine is a successful CEO, with over 20 years of operating experience, and an extensive sales and marketing background. She has raised venture capital funding for multiple companies, built teams & had two exits. (ZipLocal sold to Canpages, b5media sold to Alloy Digital). She has mentored & advised entrepreneurs for over 10 years, and is active and connected in Canadian & US business communities. Elaine is an active member on 6 Boards, and is a Next 36 Mentor, CDL Mentor, Next AI Mentor. She is a founding Advisor/Creator of Girls (20), an organization that improves economic opportunities for women globally. She was also recognized as one of Microsoft Canada’s Top females in tech.
