About

Joined the Long-Term Credit Bank of Japan (now Shinsei Bank) in 1990. Worked in corporate finance and trading. Has been engaged in private equity since 2003. Became General Manager of the Private Equity Department in 2010. In 2012, upon the establishment of Shinsei Corporate Investment, became its Representative Director and President. From the standpoint of an LP investor, has served as investment committee member and advisor to investment funds in Japan and abroad, and has experience across the full range of private equity work, from LP investment to fund operation and hands-on support of portfolio companies. Has investment experience in a wide range of industries such as IT, manufacturing, wholesale and retail. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo, and holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA).
