Over 30 years of experience in IPO-related work at securities firms and VCs. At the corporate finance division of Nomura Securities, handled IPOs as lead managing underwriter for two companies. Afterwards, executed investments in more than 40 companies at Japan Venture Capital. Of the portfolio companies, six, including Yumemachi Souzou Iinkai (now Demae-can), achieved domestic IPOs, and one, GLM, achieved a global exit through cross-border M&A. Areas of investment expertise are IT, BtoC business and energy-related fields. Often invests from the early stage as lead VC. Has also made many investments in university-originated startups and deep tech. Joined this company as a Partner in February 2025. Certified Member of the Securities Analysts Association of Japan
