Currently Managing Director of Hanneng PE Fund (汉能PE基金, Hanneng Capital). Since joining Hanneng, he has focused on growth-stage and buyout PE investments in the cloud computing ecosystem, investing in projects including 21Vianet, Xi Mu, Aqrose Technology and SinoHytec; he also serves as Deputy Secretary-General of the Zhongguancun Cloud Computing Industry Alliance. He previously served as head of the investment department at CITIC M&A Fund, and before that worked at Hony Capital for more than 7 years. The projects he led and took part in involved investment amounts of more than RMB 5 billion, more than half of which have achieved successful exits or listings. Before working in investment, Mr. Zhao was a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company. He has 16 years of experience in the financial industry.
