Mr. Wang Mingyao (王明耀) is currently President/Managing Partner of Legend Star (联想之星), fully responsible for investment, incubation and overall operations, and serves as Chairman of the Legend Star Entrepreneurship Alliance. Mr. Wang has more than 20 years of experience in venture capital, and was previously Senior Vice President at Zero2IPO Group and Partner at Jiufan Investment (九帆投资). He joined Legend Star in 2010 and drove Legend Star's systematic focus on three major directions: frontier technology, healthcare and TMT, building an excellent investment portfolio that includes star projects such as Pony.ai (NASDAQ: PONY; 2026.HK), CIDI (希迪智驾, 3881.HK) and Axera (爱芯元智, 0600.HK); the Leidou Games (乐逗游戏) investment he led became a classic case of an angel investment that listed within three years and returned nearly 100 times. Under Wang Mingyao's leadership, Legend Star has consistently ranked among the top of China's annual Top 10 early-stage investment institutions since 2014, and Mr. Wang has been named to the "China's Top 10 Early-Stage Investors" list by Zero2IPO and CVSource year after year, and named one of "China's 30 Most Influential Investors" by Fortune in 2014 and 2018. Mr. Wang holds a Master of International Business Administration from Tsinghua University.
