About

Mr. Gao Tianyao (高天垚) joined Legend Star (联想之星) in 2016 and is currently responsible for investment and portfolio management in Legend Star's frontier technology area. His focus investment tracks include: AI/embodied intelligence, robotics/autonomous driving, commercial space/low-altitude economy, chips, energy technology, quantum information technology and other frontier technology directions. Angel/early-stage projects he has personally led include Pony.ai (NASDAQ: PONY; 2026.HK), CIDI (希迪智驾, 3881.HK), Axera (爱芯元智, 0600.HK), Hai Robotics (海柔创新), X Square Robot (自变量机器人), Turing Quantum (图灵量子), Yuguang Technology (驭光科技, acquired by Goertek), Qingzhi Technology (清智科技, acquired by Weichai Power) and more than 40 others. Previously worked at a Wall Street investment bank, an RMB PE fund and the strategic investment department of a listed company, with more than 15 years of venture capital experience in the technology field, helping many startups grow from 0 to 1, several of which became unicorns, listed companies, or were acquired by listed companies.
