About
Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo, and Harvard Law School (graduate school); attorney and New York State attorney. After joining Mori Sogo Law Offices, he worked at Davis Polk & Wardwell (US) and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (US), and is currently a partner at Mori Hamada & Matsumoto. He also serves as Director and Industrial Innovation Committee member of INCJ, Ltd., Chair of the Public-Private Innovation Program Subcommittee of the National University Corporation Evaluation Committee of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, member of the National University Corporation Evaluation Committee, and Auditor of the University of Tokyo, among other roles. Member of the company's Investment Committee since July 2011, and became the company's Investment Supervisor in June 2019.
