熊谷 賢一

Graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Tokyo; graduated from Hiroshima University Fukuyama High School; from Yamaguchi Prefecture. Joined Sanwa Bank, Ltd. (now MUFG Bank) in 1989, then, after a secondment to Advantage Partners, Inc. in 2001, established two private equity (PE) funds at the group's securities company; at one of them (Solution Design Co., Ltd.) he operated regional revitalization funds, business succession funds, mezzanine funds and others. In 2013 became Head of the M&A Finance Office in the Structured Finance Department (Global Head). In 2017 became Managing Director of Mitsubishi UFJ Capital Co., Ltd., in charge of venture investment. In July 2018 became Representative Director and Executive Vice President of the company, and since January 2019 has been Representative Director and President.
