松本 守祥

About

Graduated from the Faculty of Law at Keio University in 1982. After working at Japan Line, Ltd. (now Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Ltd.), he joined Japan-ASEAN Investment Co., Ltd. (now Japan Asia Investment Co., Ltd.) in 1989. In 1996 he became Head of the Portfolio Companies Department and Head of the Portfolio Management Division, leading management guidance for portfolio companies, IPOs, trade sales and more. In 2000 he became a Director and oversaw the strategic venture investment (CVC) business conducted jointly with major domestic operating companies. From 2002 onward, as head of PE secondary investments, he established Japan's first secondary fund. In 2007 he became Managing Director and CEO of JAIC America Inc. (residing in Silicon Valley). In 2009 he became Representative Director and President, leading the restructuring of the JAIC Group right after the Lehman shock. In 2012 he became Chairman of the Board. In 2013 he left the company and founded WM Partners Co., Ltd., becoming Representative Partner (current). In January 2015 he became an Expert Committee Member at DBJ Capital Co., Ltd.
