About

After graduating from Keio University's Faculty of Environment and Information Studies, he joined Recruit. In 2009 he joined Colopl, where he became Executive Vice President. After Colopl's IPO on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Mothers market in 2012 and its move to the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2014, he stepped down in July 2016. He is now an angel investor who has invested in more than 60 startups, mainly in the internet field, and more than 40 VC funds, and serves as representative of "DRONE FUND", a sector-focused VC aiming at a society built on drones and air mobility, and of the "Chiba Dojo Fund". In April 2019 he became a Visiting Professor at Keio University SFC. He was also the first domestic customer of the HondaJet and holds a pilot's license himself (private pilot).
