About
From 1987 he was the first representative of Oracle Japan, contributing to the company's launch and laying the foundation for its record growth today. As Representative Director of Sunbridge Corporation, which he founded in 1999 with his own funds, he has, in addition to investing in numerous venture companies, been involved in establishing joint ventures in Japan with overseas cloud vendors, including Salesforce.com, Inc. In 2007 he was selected for the "Midas List", the US Forbes list of venture capitalists and angel investors considered to have made notable contributions to raising the value of ventures, as the first venture capitalist based mainly in Japan.
