About
Erik, a member of the State Bar of California, serves as MAIORA's Chief Legal Officer, managing transactional and corporate legal matters for the MAIORA family of entities in East and Southeast Asia. Prior to joining MAIORA, Erik founded Pan-Pacific Advisors, a Hong Kong based consultancy, advising U.S. corporations, on strategic investments and legal matters in Asia. He had previously spent ten years in private practice handling mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, cross-border transactions, and general corporate matters at leading law firms in Los Angeles, Taipei, and Tokyo. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Political Science from the University of California at Irvine in 1994, and his Juris Doctorate with Honors from the Gould School of Law at the University of Southern California in 1999. He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has developed a basic competency in Japanese and Thai.
