Eugene is a Canadian CPA, CA with a focus on venture-backed start-ups and early-stage tech companies. He was the CFO at ThoughtWire for 3 years where he led a large $20MM CAD debt & Series A financing. In addition, he was the CFO at Healthscreen Solutions for a 2-year period. While at Healthscreen, he was directly involved in completing 2 rounds of financing and 3 acquisitions, a go-public transaction, and helping manage the growth and scale from under $2MM CAD in revenue to a run-rate of $20MM CAD in 2 years. Eugene Fast-tracked through PwC partnership in less than 10 years working career and was PwC Canada’s emerging tech (startup) leader from 13-15, 18-present. He unofficially acted as a Venture Partner for Fund I helping to scout and close 2 portfolio companies and will be directly involved as a partner for Fund II.
