About

Prior to Struck, Filipe developed Computer Vision and Machine Learning solutions at CPQD, a leading Latin American R&D center. His work spanned biometrics, surveillance, remote sensing, Industry 4.0, agribusiness, digital twins, and environmental monitoring. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Alfenas (UNIFAL-MG), an M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (UNICAMP), and completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). His research focused on Machine Learning and Computer Vision for digital forensics, biometrics, and surveillance, leading to multiple scientific publications and academic collaborations.
