About
Frank Carsten Herzog developed LaserCUSING® technology, powder-bed-based laser melting of metals, in 1997 from his student research work. In 1999, on the basis of his diploma thesis "Introduction of new sintering technologies into the rapid tooling process", he was able to file two fundamental patents for the laser melting process, which is today regarded worldwide as a key technology in industry.
