Fred Schaufeld is a co-founder and Partner of SWaN & Legend Venture Partners. He is a Partner in Monumental Sports & Entertainment, which owns the Washington Capitals (NHL), Wizards (NBA), Mystics (WNBA) and Capital One Arena; and a Partner in the Washington Nationals (MLB); aXiomatic, which has a controlling interest in e-sports franchise Team Liquid; and the Professional Fighters League (PFL). He also has a controlling interest in the Hill Top House Hotel and American Bike Ride, parent of the DC Bike Ride and the Philly Bike Ride. Fred founded and led National Electronics Warranty Corporation (NEW), the nation’s largest consumer product protection company, which was acquired by Asurion in 2008.
