Friedrich von Diest is Managing Partner at Sirius Equity Partners. As a business economist (Betriebswirt) and merchant (Kaufmann), he has been active as an entrepreneur since 1992; he was a member of the founding management board of ACG AG and of the shareholder management board of Cobion AG. Since 1998 Friedrich von Diest has been active as a business angel and fund investor and since then has been responsible, among other things, for the founding, building, financing and sale of about 25 technology companies, with IPO volumes of up to EUR 100 million. Key data of his career as an entrepreneur also include personnel responsibility for up to 600 employees, the steering of more than 40 M&A transactions and revenues of up to EUR 360 million. Friedrich von Diest is a supervisory board and advisory board member in numerous technology companies. In 2000 he was awarded "Entrepreneur of the Year".
