George Magrath, MD, MBA, MS, is a board-certified ophthalmologist and biotechnology executive with experience in company leadership, ophthalmic drug development, finance and investing. He serves as Chief Executive Officer and a board member of Opus Genetics. Ocuphire Pharma acquired Opus Genetics; the combined public company trades on Nasdaq. Previously, Dr. Magrath was Chief Executive Officer of Lexitas Pharma Services, an ophthalmology-focused contract research organization, where he expanded its capabilities in retinal disease services and ophthalmic image reading before its acquisition by a private equity firm.
