Gil Rosen, GP of Blockchain Builders Fund, is also Co-lead of the Stanford Blockchain Accelerator, co-teacher of MS&E447 Blockchain Entrepreneurship, and co-lead of the Blockchain Applications Stanford Summit (known as BASS). Gil’s experience in blockchain started in 2016 as an active investor, advisor, miner, and yield farmer. Gil’s prolific angel investing in data-driven disruption has led to 50+ angel deals with a 5X MOIC. His background as a serial exited founder includes Eccella (Gil’s first venture with $10M ARR), which won Forbes’ Top 50 Places to Work, built data infrastructure for the IRS, Veteran Affairs, Franklin Templeton, JPMorgan, BP, and VW, among others. Gil has also served as a Venture Partner for Preface Ventures and a StartX Mentor. A double Stanford graduate, Gil was both a Sloan Fellow in Stanford GSB’s MSx program in 2016, and completed his Master’s in Public Policy in 2023.
