Giri Malpani has been investing in startups for over a decade, after first managing his family’s businesses in Mumbai and Bagalkot. He founded Climber Capital to back founders during their most critical first 18 months, providing both capital and active support. Over the years, Giri has invested in 170+ companies, including Scimplify, NxtWave, Brightchamps, NewMe, CreditWise Capital, VideoVerse, SuperAGI, Vecmocon Technologies, and many more category-defining companies. Known for his mix of candor, optimism, and grit, he often comes in as an early believer and stays a long-term partner as founders navigate near-failures and breakthroughs.
