Gretchen McCarey

Gretchen McCarey is the CFO of Castle Island Ventures. She has spent more than two decades working in the venture capital industry. At Castle Island, she is responsible for the finance and operations of the firm. Prior to joining the firm, Gretchen spent six years as Director, Finance and Operations for B-FLEXION US, the family office for Ernesto Bertarelli, where she managed the accounting and operations functions for the U.S. entity and provided CFO support to Gurnet Point Capital, LLC, a $2 billion health care fund. She also spent seven years at Atlas Venture and its spin-off, Accomplice, where she held CFO and VP of Finance roles overseeing finance and operations.
