Heron Abi-Sâmara

Graduated in Mechanical Engineering and Systems Analysis from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), with an MBA in Financial Management from IBMEC and a major in Business Transformation from IMD (Switzerland). Heron was a partner at Accenture where he worked for 30 years in various leadership positions, such as Leader of the Change Management, Finance and Supply Chain Practices. He worked in the Consumer Products, Transportation, Manufacturing, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical, Retail and Automotive industries. He has experience in business transformation projects through simultaneous changes in business processes, technologies and organization. He also carried out mergers & acquisitions and turnaround projects. In recent years, Heron has worked with the innovation and start-up ecosystem as an investor, consultant and board member.
