About
Hironao founded gCC with Rui at the beginning of 2018 and manages investments. Hironao is a serial entrepreneur: he founded gumi Inc in 2007 and served as the CEO, taking it public on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 2014. He also founded social media company Candee, VR & Web3 game studio Thirdverse, and Web3 cloud funding platform Financie in addition to starting and operating gumi Ventures (within gumi Inc.) since 2013, making early stage venture investments in gaming, VR/AR, and social networks. Hironao attended Santa Monica University and Fudhan University in Shanghai.
