Itamar Mula is a Principal at Hetz Ventures, where he focuses on investments in data infrastructure, AI, cybersecurity and developer tools. A three-time founder with deep technical roots, Itamar has built and exited multiple startups, including Social Expeditions (acquired by KamaGames), Nextpeer (acquired by Rakuten), and Acumen, a Hetz portfolio company acquired by Via. He began his career as a software engineer and team lead in an elite unit of the IDF’s military intelligence directorate and has since spent over a decade at the intersection of engineering, data, and applied AI. Prior to joining Hetz, he was also an active angel investor in early-stage Israeli startups. Itamar brings hands-on founder experience and a sharp technical lens to backing the next generation of deep tech entrepreneurs.
