James has a 25-year career in finance, spanning institutional and private wealth disciplines. A risk expert, James’s guidance in assessing risk and operating models, as well as conducting quantitative assessments, is much sought after. James was formerly Head of Portfolio and Investment Management at C. Hoare & Co. Prior to joining C. Hoare & Co in 2010 James worked in Prime Brokerage at Goldman Sachs where he headed up the Quantitative Strategies Group and was also head of the Market and Credit Risk team at Barclays Capital up to 2002.
