Jeffrey Jacobs

About

Jeff is an anesthesiologist who served as system chair. In that role, he oversaw multiple hospitals and ASCs including staffing, finances, safety, patient satisfaction, and preop centers. He has significant experience with formulary management, supply chain, OR utilization, policy development, and bioethics. He helped lead the COVID and IV fluid shortage responses for his hospital system. He is an innovative thinker bringing new technology into the preoperative setting to minimize surgical delays or cancellations. Jeff is a national leader in his medical specialty addressing issues such as fair payment and staffing shortages. He attended the University of Miami for undergrad, medical school, and residency, and holds an MBA from the University of Massachusetts. He is a registered parliamentarian.
