About
Jim Charlton has over 30 years of venture capital experience; 20 years with GrowthWorks Capital. After beginning his career with Discovery Enterprises (an early stage venture capital firm) and then Ventures West Management, Jim joined GrowthWorks Capital in 1996 before stepping away in 2015. Jim rejoined the team in Spring 2018. Jim’s board/investment activity includes: Apparent Networks, Cellex Power, Cellfor, Chancery Software, fSONA Communications, Gemcom Software, HotHaus Technologies, LightHaus Logic, Mixpo, SFG Technologies, Silicon Chalk and Teradici. Jim has a BSc in Physics/Astronomy from UBC and an MBA from the University of Western Ontario.
